2016 November Synod: Key Items

Key Items – Woodbridge Deanery Synod – Thursday 24 November 2016

Change and growth … and other stuff Bishop Martin thanked the clergy and representatives of our Deanery for their dedicated work and support. He went on to share, amongst other things, his concerns about the way the world was experiencing the force of power generated by previously un-listened-to voices on the margins and its significance to the Church today.

Support for Syrian family: Sadly this proposal had been stalled due to overstretched support resources. Clare Sanders proposed that individual parishes should instead consider making charity donations to Suffolk Refugee Council to enable them to continue their work.
