Key Points from June 2006 Deanery Synod "Caireen Piper, the manager of the Ipswich L'Arche house gave an excellent talk on the 3rd Mark of Mission (To respond to human need by loving service). She explained how the L'Arche organisation primarily provides homes for people with learning disabilities, and challenged us all on how inclusive is our church? "Four clergy (Revd Pauline Stentiford, Revd Dave Gardner, Revd Kevan McCormack & Revd David Murdoch) and seven lay people (Tony Allwood, John Chapman, Roy Eaton, Robert Tate, Elizabeth Sheard, Barry Vincent, & Jacqueline Maslin) were elected unopposed to the Diocesan Synod. "Everyone was encouraged to attend the Deaneries Festival on 30th June - 2nd July at the cathedral and view the deanery display put together by Elizabeth Sheard's team. "The Woodbridge deanery 2007 parish share is expected to be 14% higher than the 2006 share. The deanery organiser has written to parishes explaining the reasons, and encouraging them to start saving now.
